RÖNNESHYTTA WAS...
Rönneshytta was a very little and pristine city. I loved the smell of the moss in the wood, the sound of water in the lake, the shining sun behind the clouds, the little houses in the woods, the welcoming school … Rönneshytta is a wonderful place.

Rönneshytta was wonderful! I appreciated so much the school, the way you work, your inspiring teaching lessons, the welcoming atmosphere created by teachers and all the children I met. I love the way you care about creating a positive learning environment, the concrete spirit of inclusion I could see in your classrooms. It is so important: it allows students to feel comfortable and confident as learners. Maria Montessori was an Italian educator she wrote a lot about the importance of the environment . In Italy she doesn’t have so many “followers” and it’s a pity. Her important and effective theory is well reflected in your awesome school: how furniture is arranged and organized, how materials are stored and maintained, how clean the classrooms are and the overall color and brightness of windows, walls, crafts. Your school has a warm atmosphere and every little thing is full of meaning. The pedagogical contex is rich: I would have liked to stay more time because I learnt alot and I know I could learn much more

I had the chance to think about the differences betwwen the Sweden school and the Italian one. I think we should learn so much from you. I feel richer as teacher and I’m using a lot of crafts and techniques in my daily teaching experience and research. logo
THE VISIT WAS...
The visit was very important for my professional and personal growth. I learned a different way to teach and I saw didactic activities, that are very useful for children (for example the labs in the wood or the sewing lab). The day in the wood was very interesting. I think is very important, for children, learn to respect nature and to appreciate its wonders. I met very welcoming and generous colleagues and I learned a lot from them.

The visit was an unforgettable experience, a meeting point between cultures and different ways of teaching. Every person I met and every situation I experienced are a treasure for my work.

The visit was magic. I remember those days like some of the best of my life.
I am thankful to all the teachers that took care of me and my friends.
Pernilla was a constant point of reference. She was always ready to help and full of Energy. She was brilliant.
I remember Marie, Zandra, Johanna… and all the teachers working in the kindergarten that invited us to work with them and “their” children in the wood. An important experience that in Italy does not exist.

We still keep in touch, willing to meet as soon as possible even out of ERASMUS PLUS, just because we met, we knew each other and we discovered we have so much in common as human being; we love and respect each other deeply. I had the chance to live like Swedish live: tasting the food, learning about a different and fascinating culture. All the teachers guided me in this sensational adventure: I discovered a new world.
Itried to take as much pictures I could, I bought objects that are tipical of Swedish culture to show them to my students, my friends, my family. I felt in love with your culture and I’m part of it now thanks to your help. You welcomed me opening your hearts and I felt precious, important, at home in a different country. Thank you so much for your kindness, for all the times you woke up early to pick me up at the hotel, to open your school, your houses and your hearts to me. logo

I WILL TAKE WITH ME...
I will take with me smells, sounds and colors of Sweden, the heat of my colleagues and the joy of the children.

logo
I will take with me every single moment I lived, the kindness of the people, the motivation and the different ways of dealing with school life and work issues.

logo
I will take with me all of you, your culture, your teaching styles, your labs (in Italy they don’t exist).
This is not the end. This is just the beginning, the starting point of an extraordinary story. I am grateful. Deeply grateful. Thanks for letting it be so special.

About project
